Dry Brushing

September means it’s officially spring here in the Southern hemisphere, so most of us will be spring cleaning our homes, detoxing and exercising a little more. Even though they say summer bodies are made in winter, it’s not summer yet so we still have a chance to get ready. I decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to chat to you guys about what has been the best part of my evening beauty routine for the past few years – dry brushing. Mihlali Ndamase

When I first got into blogging, I never imagined that I would end up meeting so many great people. Mihlali was one of the first ladies I managed to connect with on a personal level. She is as funny, humble and genuine as she appears on her channel and is also obsessed with fitness and taking care of her health (something we both have in common).

Virgin Coconut oil is extracted from the fresh meat of raw coconuts. It is then cold-pressed, filtered and thus able to retain its classic coconut smell. Ideally, virgin coconut oil should be as clear as water. However, its colour may vary slightly depending on how it is processed.

I pushed myself from huffing and puffing to finish 2km, to running two half-marathons in… Continue reading Running tips for beginners, by a beginner.
